THE PROGRAM
Discover the Highlights of Ashtabula County is a unique, daylong, asset based program
that quickly orients one to Ashtabula County. Participants are given a unique insight
into our community. They get an overview of the area from historic, economic, civic,
political, cultural and entertainment perspectives. The day long session provides
opportunity for interaction among participants and presenters, and an understanding
of what makes our area "tick." The informal atmosphere creates a day of learning,
fun, friendships and new perspectives.
THE GOALS
Discover the Highlights of Ashtabula County is committed to providing participants with:
- An overview of Ashtabula County
- Exposure to County assets (natural and built) and some new initiatives
- Access to and interaction with current community leaders
- Encouragement toward involvement in our community and its future
THE PARTICIPANTS
Discover the Highlights of Ashtabula County participants share a desire to learn more about
our area and appreciate its inner workings. They come from the public and private sectors;
are newcomers and long-time residents; professionals and executives.
Discover the Highlights of Ashtabula County uses a fast paced format that quickly
broadens participants' knowledge of the County.
Cost of the program is $125.00 per person, $225 per couple.
We visit off the beaten path locations and interact with front line professionals.
